The Ayurveda Centre is the name under which I provide my professional services and educational activities.
The Paris address above is my registered business address. It is not a permanent practice or client reception address.

2. What personal information do I collect?
The information I collect depends on how you interact with me.
When you contact me
When you use the contact form or contact me by email, telephone or direct message, I may receive:
- your name
- your email address
- your telephone number, if you provide it
- the content of your message
- any other information you voluntarily provide
I use this information to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, arrange a service with you.
During consultations
I do not currently ask clients to complete an online health questionnaire.
During an Ayurveda consultation, I may make notes based on information you choose to share with me and that is relevant to the consultation.
This may include information relating to:
- lifestyle
- food and eating habits
- digestion and appetite
- sleep
- energy
- stress
- general wellbeing
- symptoms or health concerns
- medication or supplements, where voluntarily discussed
- other information relevant to your consultation
Some of this information may constitute health data, which is a specially protected category of personal data under the GDPR.
I collect and use only information that is reasonably relevant to the service being provided.
Consultation information may be recorded in handwritten notes and subsequently summarised in private electronic notes stored on my Mac.
3. Where services are provided
My consultations are primarily provided online.
From time to time, I may also offer in-person consultations, therapies, courses or workshops at an agreed location in Athens, Greece, including studios or other professional spaces.
The location of an in-person service will be communicated at the time of booking.
My registered business address in Paris is not a client reception or consultation address.
4. Newsletter
If you choose to subscribe to my newsletter, I may collect your name and email address.
The newsletter may contain educational content, practices, articles, information about courses, workshops and events, and updates from The Ayurveda Centre.
You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter.
The newsletter is managed using Mailchimp, subject to confirmation of the current website integration and account configuration.
Mailchimp may process personal information on my behalf as a service provider. Its own privacy policy and applicable data-processing terms also apply.
5. Website forms
The website currently includes a contact form and a newsletter subscription form.
Information submitted through the contact form is used to respond to your enquiry or arrange services.
Newsletter information is used for newsletter communications and is not added to the newsletter list simply because you have contacted me through the contact form.
I do not currently use an online client health or consultation questionnaire.

The website contains embedded content, including YouTube videos.

Because my services are wellbeing and educational services rather than regulated medical care, the precise legal basis for processing health-related information should be confirmed with an appropriate GDPR professional.

Information shared during an individual consultation is treated as confidential.
Consultation notes are not published or used for marketing.
Paper notes are kept securely and electronic notes are stored on my Mac with appropriate access protection.
Information may only be disclosed to another person or organisation where:
- you have requested or authorised this;
- disclosure is necessary to provide a service and is lawful;
- disclosure is required by law; or
- there is a serious safeguarding or safety concern requiring appropriate action.
11. Who may receive personal information?
I may use trusted service providers where necessary to operate the website or provide my services.
Depending on the services currently in use, these may include:

- Mailchimp for newsletters
- Zoom for online sessions
- payment or accounting providers where necessary

Some consultations, courses and workshops take place online using Zoom.
When you participate in a Zoom session, Zoom may process personal information according to its own privacy policy and terms.
You should review Zoom’s privacy information if you have concerns about how information is processed by the platform.

Some third-party services used by this website or for online services may process information outside the European Economic Area.
Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards required by applicable data-protection law should be used.

Newsletter information is retained until you unsubscribe or otherwise request that it be removed, subject to any legal requirements.
Contact information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to manage an enquiry or resulting professional relationship.
Consultation notes are retained only for an appropriate period having regard to the nature of the service, professional responsibilities and applicable legal requirements.

These measures include appropriate access controls, device security, secure website connections and keeping relevant software and systems updated.
Paper consultation notes are stored securely.
Electronic consultation notes are stored on a password-protected Mac.
However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The website and services are primarily intended for adults.
I do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website without appropriate consent where such consent is legally required.
Where a course or activity is specifically offered to children or young people, appropriate arrangements will be made.
