These Terms & Conditions apply to the services, courses, workshops and educational content provided by Elena Beurdeley / The Ayurveda Centre through this website, online and in person.

By booking a consultation, therapy, course or workshop, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About The Ayurveda Centre

The Ayurveda Centre provides educational and wellbeing services informed by Ayurveda, mindfulness, yoga and related traditional practices.

Services may include:

Consultations are primarily provided online. From time to time, in-person services may be offered at an agreed professional location in Athens, Greece.

2. Nature of the services

The services provided by The Ayurveda Centre are intended for education, wellbeing, self-awareness and personal development.

Ayurveda, mindfulness, yoga and related practices are not presented as a substitute for medical diagnosis, medical treatment, psychotherapy or other professional healthcare.

No service provided by The Ayurveda Centre is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a medical condition.

If you have a medical condition, are taking medication, are pregnant, have recently undergone surgery, or have another health concern that may affect your participation, you should seek appropriate advice from a qualified healthcare professional before undertaking a service.

You remain responsible for your own health and decisions concerning your care.

3. Ayurveda consultations

An Ayurveda consultation is an individual educational and wellbeing session informed by traditional Ayurvedic principles.

During a consultation, you may be asked about areas such as:

Recommendations may include lifestyle practices, food choices, daily routines, movement, mindfulness or traditional Ayurvedic practices.

Where herbs or supplements are discussed, this is provided as educational information within an Ayurvedic context and should not be understood as a prescription or replacement for medical treatment.

You should inform me of any relevant medication, medical condition or other circumstance that may affect the suitability of a recommendation.

4. Ayurveda body therapies

Ayurvedic body therapies are wellbeing practices involving massage, touch, oils and other traditional techniques.

Before a session, you should inform me of any relevant circumstances that may affect your participation, including injuries, pregnancy, recent surgery, allergies, skin conditions or other health concerns.

I may modify, postpone or decline a session where I consider this appropriate for your safety.

You may ask for a treatment or particular form of touch to stop at any time.

Ayurvedic body therapies are wellbeing practices and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions.

5. Mindfulness, meditation and yoga

Mindfulness, meditation, Yin yoga, restorative yoga and movement practices are offered for educational and wellbeing purposes.

You are responsible for participating within your own physical and emotional limits.

If a practice causes pain, significant discomfort, dizziness or distress, you should stop and seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.

Mindfulness and meditation are not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychiatric care or other clinical mental-health treatment.

No particular physical, emotional or health outcome is guaranteed.

6. Courses and workshops

Courses and workshops are educational programmes and are not medical, psychological or therapeutic treatment.

Course content is provided for learning and personal practice.

Participation in a course or workshop does not create a medical, psychotherapeutic or other clinical relationship.

Course materials, recordings and other resources provided to participants are for their personal use only unless otherwise stated.

Participants may not reproduce, sell, publish, distribute or commercially use course materials without prior written permission.

7. Online sessions

Online consultations, courses and workshops may be provided through Zoom.

You are responsible for having a suitable internet connection, appropriate equipment and a private environment in which to participate.

Online services may occasionally be affected by technical problems outside my control.

If a technical problem prevents a scheduled session from taking place, reasonable arrangements will be made to reschedule the session where appropriate.

8. Booking and payment

Consultations and other services may be arranged by telephone, email, direct message or other booking method communicated by The Ayurveda Centre.

Payment arrangements will be communicated at the time of booking.

Payment may be made by the payment method agreed for the service, including bank transfer or IRIS.

A booking is considered confirmed once the booking arrangements have been agreed.

9. Cancellation and rescheduling

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible by email, telephone or direct message.

In exceptional circumstances, I may use my discretion when applying the cancellation policy.

For courses and workshops, the cancellation and refund conditions applicable to the particular programme will be communicated at the time of booking.

10. Participant responsibility

Participants are responsible for providing accurate information relevant to their participation and for informing Elena Beurdeley of any circumstances that may affect their ability to safely participate.

Participants should not participate in a practice where they have been advised by a qualified healthcare professional not to do so.

The Ayurveda Centre cannot guarantee a particular outcome from any consultation, course, therapy, yoga practice or other service.

11. Professional boundaries

The relationship between Elena Beurdeley and clients or participants is professional.

Respectful communication and appropriate professional boundaries are expected at all times.

Sexual, threatening, abusive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate behaviour will not be accepted.

The Ayurveda Centre reserves the right to end a session, refuse a booking or discontinue services where professional boundaries, safety or respectful conduct cannot be maintained.

12. Confidentiality

Information shared during consultations and sessions will normally be treated as confidential.

The information published on this website, including articles, recipes, videos and other educational materials, is provided for general educational and informational purposes.

Unless otherwise stated, the written content, course materials, photographs, videos, graphics and other original materials created by Elena Beurdeley remain her intellectual property.

This website may contain links to or embedded content from third-party services, including YouTube and other online platforms.

Third-party services operate according to their own terms and privacy policies.

The Ayurveda Centre is not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites or platforms.

16. Safeguarding

The Ayurveda Centre is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for clients, students and participants.

Concerns relating to safety, inappropriate behaviour or safeguarding will be taken seriously and handled appropriately.

Every reasonable effort is made to provide services professionally and responsibly.

However, participation in consultations, therapies, courses, workshops, yoga, mindfulness or other activities is undertaken with personal responsibility for your own wellbeing and within the limits of your own circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. Changes to services and these Terms

Services, course content, prices and availability may change from time to time.

These Terms & Conditions may also be updated where necessary to reflect changes to services, website practices or applicable legal requirements.

The current version will be published on this website with its updated date.

19. Applicable law

These Terms & Conditions are intended to operate in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
