chicken healthy kids recipe

An easy and healty chicken recipes which is suitable for kids. They will love it and so will you !
Please seek support from an aurveda practitioner if your child has specific medical condition.



  • Chicken breast – 1 per person
  • Garlic – 1-2 cloves
  • Onion – 1 onion
  • Ginger – 1 cm (grated or thinly sliced)
  • Paprika – 1/2 tsp
  • For children add – Tomato ketchup (see our kids friendly recipe here!) – 1,5 tsp
  • For adults optional add – Jaggery or brown sugar – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin – 1/4 tsp (optional)
  • Cinnamon – 1/4 tsp (optional)
  • Salt
  • Olive oil or ghee


  1. Clean the chicken breast and slice horizontally. Place in a plate
  2. Sprinkle with salt. Leave for 2-3 minutes
  3. Stir fry the chicken with a little oil or ghee in a non stick pot or deep pan, until it turns white (inside and outside).
  4. Remove from the pan and set aside
  5. Slice the onion in rings, sprinkle with salt to absorb the water content
  6. Chop or crush the garlic, grate or slice the ginger
  7. In the previously used pan, stir fry the garlic, ginger, cinnamon, then onion until fraguant but not burn
  8. Add paprika, tomato ketchup or jaggery. Stir for 1 minute.
  9. Add chicken and a little more black pepper. Stir for 1-2 minutes
  10. Serve warm with rice or mashed potatoes
