A delicious healthy spread for your morning pancakes. Almonds are known to pacify vata dosha, improve eye conditions, provide stregth and are used as an aphrodisiac.
In Ayurveda, they are used for disorders of the nervous system, to enhance sexual vigour and reduce bleeding disorders. Almonds are also packed with healthy protein, vitamine E, magnesium and calcium.
The healthy almond spread recipe is one way to include almonds into your diet. You can also choose to have them as a shake (see recipe of our almond-date shake) or in a desert (nourishing-avocado-almond mousse).
- 5-10 Almonds (no skin, pre-soaked overnight)
- Rose hymalayan salt
- Olive oil
- Soak almonds overnight. In the morning rince.
- Add to blender with a little water, olive oil, salt and cinnamon. Blend until you have reached a smooth consisitency.
- You are ready to spread over delicious pancakes or dip them in !
